HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1571 4 § 6 ? 8 9 10 11 14 15 16 17 18 19 Z0 £1 25 28' RESOLUTION NO. 1571 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CO~ISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN FINDING THAT THE DISPOSAL OF TIIE OLD CITY HALL SITE IS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL PLAN The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby' resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows a. That the City Council of the City of Tustin by Resolution No. 76-89, does determine that the best interest of the City shall~be served by the dis- p~osition of the former site of the City Hall, bounded by 2nd, 3rd, E1 Camino Real and "C" Streets b. That Section 65402 requires the Planning Commission to report on the conformity of subject property with the Tustin Area General Plan prior to the disposition of public property. c. 'The sale of subject property would be ~empt from the requirement of an Environmental Impact Report on the basis of an underlying Environmental Report for the redevelopment area of the City of Tustin. d. Development plans for subject area shall require the approval of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Tustin. e. The Planning Commission holds concern for the possible loss of the Tustin Museum and any development plans that would be considered by the RedeveloPment Agency be done so with the possible absolution and relocation of the Tustin Museum. 2. The Planning Commission does hereby resolve that the disposal of the former City Hall property for private development would be in conformity with the Tustin Area General Plan.
