• RESOLUTION NO. 1534
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN PLANNING COb4MISSI0I3 _
RECOMMENDING TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF A
SCENIC HIGHWAY ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN. -

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:

1. .The ,Planning Commission finds and' de:~ermines as follows ;
a. That Sec~ion 65302 (H) of the Government Code of
• the State of California requires the City to.adopt
a Scenic Highway Element fvr the development,
establishment, and protection of scenic highways
• pursuant to the State Highway Code.
b. That the proposed Scenic Highway Element meets
State Guideline requirements for General Plan
Elements as promulgated by the State of California.
c. That the Planning Commission reviewed the proposed
Element on August 23, 1976 and conducted a public
hearing for the purpose of hearing public testimony
i ]related to the Scenic Highway Element.
d. That the proposed Element has been. submitted to
the Traffic Commission and the Parks and Recreation
Commission for their review and comment.
e. That said Element is exempt from the Environmental
Impact Report pursuant to Section 1547 {C) of the
. Regulations of the California Resources Agency.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City
Council the adoption of the Scenic Highway Element of
the Tustin Area General Plan to include the text and
diagram as presented. -
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, Calif rnia, held on the. 23rd day
of August, 1976.
