The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin. does hereby
resolve as follows:
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CC~tMISSION OF THE CITY.
OF TUSTIN GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON
APPLICATION NO. UP 76-18 OF TUNGSTEN CARBIDE
MANUFACTUF.ING DIVISION
1. .The Planning Commission finds and determines as fol-
lows:

That a proper application No. UP 76-18 was f filed
on behalf of Tungsten Carbide Manufacturing
Division for the purpose of authorizing con-
struction of a Chemical Storage Tank for the
property located at 14 a 51 Myford. Road in the
Tustin Irvine Industrial Complex.
That a public hearing was duly called and noticed
and held on said application. ~~
That a request for exemption from the EIR proce-
dures has been filed ar_d is~ approved on the basis
that proposed constzucti.on is categorically exempt
in accordance with. City Council Resolution No.
74-8.
The establishment, maintenance and operation of
the use applied for- will not, under .the circum-
stances of this case, be detrimental to the. health
safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of .the
persons residing or working in the neighborhood. of
such proposed use, evidenced by the following
findings: '
1) All development shall conform to the Uniform
Building Code,. the Uniform Fire Code and other
.applicable safety regulations of the City of
Tustin.
2} That air pollution control measures shall, be
exercised by the Air Pollution Control
District of Orange County.
3) That waste disposaY shall be controlled by
the requirements or Sanitation District-No. 7.
4) Engineering design considerations shall be
submitted to guarar_tee the .elimination of
fumes , odors , and riitigation of .hazards
That the said establishment, maintenance and
operation of the use. applied for will. not be .
injurious or detrimental to the property and
improvements in the neighborhood of the subject
property, nor to the general welfare. of the City
of Tustin, and should be granted.
f. The proposed development shall be in conformance
with the ordinances and policies as adopted by
the City Council.

2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit,
as applied for, to allow the construction of a - .
Chemical Storage Tank for the Tungsten Carbide Manu
f facturing Division, subject to the following conditions-:
a. Final development plan s, including details of
screening and landscaping as necessary, shall be
submitted to and approved by the Cor,~-~unity Develop-
ment Director.
b. Prior to construction, engineering drawings and
calculations, showing conformance to all applicable
safety laws, shall be submitted to the Building
Official and a Building Permit obtained.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission held on the 9th-day of August, 1976.
