RESOLUTION NO. 1516
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMl~'tISSION OF TF?E CITX
OF TUSTIN RECOl~1~~ENDING AP~[ENDP~IENT TO ORDINANCE NO.
635 PERTAINING TO PARKLAND DEDICATION
The Planning Commission of the City ~ of Tustin does hereb~t
esolve as follows:
~' 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows:
a. That Section 65910 of the Planninq and Zoning Act
of the State of. California does require that each
city adopt an open-space zoning ordinance and irtn-le-
mentinq t~rocedures . ~ _
b. That the City Council did on Septermber l6, 1974
adopt Ordinance No. 635 which establishes the
. standards of 7 acres of parkland ner 1,000 inhabi--
tants with 4 acres to be the responsibility of
property developers. .
c. That the Recreation Commission did recommend-to~
the Planning Commission. amendment to Ordinance
No. 635 to correct a classification :error in the
table related to Park Land Acres ner Dwelling Units.
d. That the Parks and P~ecreation Commission did
further recommend that credit of private parks and
~. recreation open space be allocated upon certain:
specified conditions.
~e. That the nronosed amendment has been determined by
~ the .Planning Commission to be exempt-from the re-
. quirements of an Environmental Impact Report.
f . That a public hearing was duly_ noticed and held on
.said proposed amendment.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City
Council the approval of the arzendrtents to Ordinance No.
635, t~~ith ~rooosed amendments as appendixed hereto..
