The Planning Commission of. the City of Tustin does hereby
!resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and deterrzines as follo~~Tr~
a. That a proper application No. UP 76-7 eras filed or?
behalf of Thiolcol/Dvnachem for the purpose of_
authorizing construction and occupancy of an
Organic Chemical 1?.eaction Unit (OCF.) f_or the
property located at 2632 P~ichelle Drive in the
Tustin Irvine Industrial Complex.
b. That a public hearing ~.aas dul~~ called and noti~:,:
and held on said application.
c. That an Environmental Impact Report was filed for
subject application and certified by the adoption
of Resolution No . 15 0 6 , as adopted by the Planninc;T
Commission on April 26, 1976.
d. The establishment, maintenance and operation of ~
the use applied f_or ~~ill not, ur_der the circum-
stances of this case, be detrimental to the head !,
safety, morals , comfort or general welfare of tr
persons residing or working in the neighborhood or_'
such proposed use, evidenced by the following
findings
1) All development shall. conforrl to the Uniform
Building Code.
2) That air pollution control rzeasures shall be
. exercised by the Air Pollution Control Distric~~~
of Orange County. _
3) That waste disposal shall be controlled by the
requirements of Sanitation District No. ?.
~) Engineering design considerations have been
submitted to guarantee the elir^.ination of
fumes , odors , ~ and mitigation of hazarc~.s .
e. That the said establish::~ent, maintenance and
operation of the use applied for will not be
injurious or detrimental to the property and
improvements in the neighborhood of the subject
r~roperty, nor to thegeneral welfare of the City, '
of Tus-tin, and should be granted..
f. The proposed development. shall be in conformance
with the ordinances and policies as adoo_ted bv_
the City Council.
Final development plans shall rec;uire the re~vi ew

and approval of the Cor~rnunity Development
De~artrtent.

The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit,
I as applied for, to allow the construction and operation

of an Organic Chemical Reaction Unit (CSC..) f_or the
Thiokol/Dynachem Corporation subject to the following
3 condition:
4. Evidence shall be presented and approved by the
~ Fire Chief of the City of .Tustin that the water
5~ pressure- delivered to the site shall be adecuate
~ and maintained at an adequate level to guarantee.
