RESOLUTION NO.-1506
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING CQ'KMI~SSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN CERTIFYING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT NO.
76-I FOR THE THIOKOL/DYNACHEM CORPORATION (OCR)_BUILDING
The Planning Com~~nission of the City of Tustin does hereby
esolve as follows: -
l. The Plannings Corunission finds and determines as
follows: -
~•a) That a draft Environmental Impact Report was
prepared by S. & T. Western Incorporated Con-
sulting Engineers for the Thiokol/Dynachem OCR
structure and process to be Ioca.ted on Lot 2 of
Tract 8590 in the Tustin-Irvine Industrial
Complex. -
b) That a public notice and distribution of the
Draft Environmental Impact Report to all applicable
agencies were made in compliance with Resolution
No. 74-8, prior to a scheduled hearing on April
' 12, 1976, and continued to April 26, 197-6.
c) That a public hearing was held by the Planning
Commission to receive public testimony related to
the impact upon the local environment of the pro-
posed project, with comments received from depart-
ments and interested agencies.. -
d) That said Draft Environmental Imapct Report •
adequately addresses those items of~major environ- `
mental irlpact as related to the total project
and provides mitigating measures to protect the
environment from adverse impact.
2. The Planning .Commission hereby .certifies EIR 76-1~
an Environmental Impact Report. related to the Thiokol/
Dynachem OCR project, to consist of the initial draft,
memorandum, public testimony, communications,~and
responses of -the applicant.. .
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
commission, held on. the 26th day of April., 1976.
