RESOLUTION NO. 1430 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. U.P. 75-8, OF LARWIN SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: a. That a proper application No. 75-8 was filed by Howard Engelman on behalf of Thrifty Drug Stores for a Use Permit to authorize the expansion and remodeling of the Drug Store by the addition of 3,072 sq. ft., with said facility located in the Larwin Square Shopping Center, 630 East First Street. b. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application. C · That establishment, maintenance and operation of ' the use applied for will not, under the circumstances of this case, be detrimental to the health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed use, evidenced by the following findings: 1) 2) The use is an appropriate use within the C-2-P Zoning District. Subject proposal is an expansion of an existing· authorized use. de That the establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will not be injurious or detrimental to the property and improvements in the · neighborhood of .the subject property, nor to the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be granted. · e. That a request for exemption from the Environmental Impact Report procedures has been filed and approved. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit, as applied for, to authorize the expansion of Thrifty Drug Store in Larwin Square Shopping Center, subject to the following conditions: a· The design of parking accommodations, landscaping, and drainage to the satisfaction of the City Staff. b · Signing for the proposed Thrifty Drug Store shall conform to the requirements of Ordinance No. 614, and as approved by staff. t 1 $ 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 2~ 25 27 28 29 3O 31 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission, held on the 24th day of February, 1975.
