HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1406 1 2 4 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 2O 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 3O 31 82 RESOLUTION NO. 1406 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN ENDORSING A PROPOSED ACCESS ROAD FROM MOULTON PARKWAY SERVING THE TUSTIN-IRVINE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: le · The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows: a. That the City Council of the City of Tustin, as a condition of approval of zone change 73-6 for the Tustin-Irvine Industrial Complex, specified that vehicle access to Moulton Parkway was a prerequi- site for the issuance of building permits for in- dustrial lots southerly of Walnut Avenue. b. That ultimate circulation plans provide for grade separation crossings across the mainline ATSF Railroad on the southerly perimeter of the indust- rial complex at an alignment of Jamboree Road and new Myford Road. c. That the development of the ultimate road systems is beyond the immediate forseeable realm of proba- bility. d. That the Irvine Industrial Complex has reqUested authority and initiated a proposal for an interim access road from Moulton Parkway to the Industrial properties. e. That the proposed road is exempt from the require- ment of the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report on the basis of the certification of an EIR that encompassed the tOtal development pr,oject. The Planning Commission hereby confirms and endorses the proposal for the construction of an interim access road connecting to Moulton Parkway at a location easterly and adjacent to lot 74 of Tentative Map No. 8451, subject to the following conditions: 1. The access road between Moulton Parkway and Street "A" be constructed to a minimum width between curbs of 48 feet within a Right-of-Way width of 60 feet. · 2. That Street "A" between Walnut Avenue and Myford Road (proposed) be constructed to a minimum width of 48 feet within a Right-of-Way width of 60 feet. 3.
