RESOLUTION NO. 1405
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN GRANTING A TEMPORARY USE PERMIT
ON APPLICATION NO. U.P. 74-7 of Mr. L. B. LEWIS
FOR KIDDIE KOLLEGE
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as
follows:
a. That a proper application (No. 74-7) was filed
on behalf of L. B. Lewis for a Temporary Use
Permit to allow the temporary use of two mobile
classrooms by the Tustin Kiddie Kollege located
at 14851 Yorba Street, for a one year period
of time commencing on October 9, 1973, the date
the previous Use Permit (UP 72-393) lapsed, with
the possibi~ity~of a one year extension, subject
to the review by the Planning Commission of ~
compliance of the conditions listed herein.
b. That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
and held on said apDlication;
c. That establishment, maintenance and oDeration o
the use applied for will not, under the cir-
cumstances of this case, be detrimental to the
health, safety, morals, comfort or general wel-
fare of the p~rsons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such proposed use, evidenced
by the following findings:
--
1) That the temporary, mobile classroom units
must meet all apDlicable State, County, and
City requirements and standards for the ~ro-
Dosed use; and,
2) That said two (2) mobile units will be located
in an unobstrusive area of subject property.
d. That the establishment, maintenance and operation,'~
of the use applied for will not be injurious or
detrimental ~ the Droperty and improvements
in the neighborhood of the subject property, nor
to the general welfare of the City of Tustin,
and should be granted.
e. That an Environmental Impact Report-Negative
Declaration has been filed for this Droject.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit
as applied for, to allow the temporary use of two
mobile classrooms by the Tustin Kiddie Kollege for
a one-year period of time commencing on October 9,
1973, with ~he possibility of a one-year extension
upon review by ~he Planning Commission, subject to
the following conditions:

a. Construction of a 6' 8" decorative masonry b,l~k~a~.
wall along the north and south property lines,
with the exception of that area on the south
property line where there is an existing chain
'link fence adjacent to the Tustin Convalescent
Hospital.
b. That the remaining landscaping be installed per
the previously approved landscaping plan.
c. That a diagram of the remaining landscaping to
be installed be submitted to the Community Develo'
ment for review prior to installation.
d. That full street improvements be installed subj
to the review and approval by the Cindy Engineer.
e. That Parcel Map ~72-56 pertaininq to this
be filed and recorded.
f. That skirts be added to the trailers.~
g. That said trailers comply with all applicable
codes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 26 th day of August, 1974.
