RESOLUTION NO. 1400
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
UP 74-8, OF FOREST E. OLSON CO.
The Planning Commission of the CitY of Tustin does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as
follows:
a. That a proper application (No. UP 74-8) was
filed on behalf of Forest E. Olson Co. for a
Use Permit to allow the utilization of two
temporary office trailers measuring 10' X 60'
for a period not exceeding 4 months at
13250 Newport Avenue, Tustin.
b. That a public hearing was 'duly called, noticed
and held on said application.
c. That establishment, maintenance and operatiOn ~f
the use applied for will not, under the cir-
cumstances of this case, be detrimental to the
health, safety, morals, comfort or general wel-
fare of the persons residing or working in the
neighborhood of such proposed use.
d. That the establishment, maintenance and o'
of the use applied for will not be injurious r~r
detrimental to the property and improvements in
the neighborhood of the subject property, nor to
the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and
should be granted.
e. Proposed development shall be in accordance with
the development policies adopted by the City
Council, Uniform Building Codes as administered
by the Building Official, Fire Code as admin-
istered by the Fire Chief, and street improvemen~
requirements as administered by the City Engineer
f. A negative environmental impact declaration has
been filed on the subject property.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit,
as applied for, to allow the use of two mobile office trailers
measuring 10' X 60' for a period not exceeding four months during
the renovation and remodeling of an existing real estate office
subject to the following conditions:
a. Installation of one 2A or 2A-10BC fire ex-
tinguisher inside each trailer office.
b. The providing of a seCond means of egress for
each trailer on the sides opposite the proposed
wood platform.

The providing of five inch signs consisting of
the word "EXIT" over the_ exi~ doors of the
trailers.
d. Clearance by the Fire Department prior to
occupancy.
e. That a temporary parking area be provided on
the adjacent market parking lot.

That the existing wall along the flood control
channel be extended to the rear building line
of the Forest E. OlsOn building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 12th day of August, 1974.
