RESOLUTION NO. 1378
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING RE-
ZONING ON APPLICATION Z.C. 73-7 OF CITY
OF TUSTIN.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That a proper application (No. Z.C. 73-7)
has been filed on behalf of the City of Tustin
for a zone change from the R-4 (Multiple Family
Residential) District to the P & I (Public &
Institutional) District of the property
located at the northeasterly intersection of
Utt Drive and Mitchell Avenue.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
and held on said application;
c) That a zone change should be granted for the
following reasons:
!) The Public and Institutional District was
created for the purpose of identifying
public land uses.
2) The site is proposed for development as a
neighborhood park.
3) The proposed zone change is in accordance
with the Conversation - Open Space -
Recreation Element of the General Plan.
4) The proposed zone change will bring the
property into conformance with the Land
Use Element of the General Plan.
d) Development of subject property shall be in
accordance with the policies adopted by the
City Council, Uniform Building Codes as ad-
ministered by the Building Official, Fire C'~de
as administered by the Fire Chief, and street
improvement requirements as administered by the
City Engineer.
e) A Negative Declaration has been filed for the
Environmental impact exemption on the basis of
positive assessment without adverse impact.

review by the Parks and Recreation Commission.
2. The Planning Commission hereby reconunends to the
