HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1372 1 2 $ 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 14 15 17 18 19 20 21 22 2~ 25 26 27 29 30 31 ~2 RESOLUTION NO. 1372 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN MAKING A FORMAL FINDING THAT A LIMITED FACILITY OF A SAVINGS AND LOAN -ASSOCIATION IS A COMPARABLE USE WITH PERMITTED USES IN THE PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City of Tustin Planning Commission has been requested by the Santa Ana First Federal Savings and Loan Association to determine that a limited savings and loan facility is a permitted use in the Professional District, for the p~operty located at 14232 Red Hill Avenue, and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, by the terms of Ordinance No. 157 (The zoning Ordinance as amended) is authorized to make a determination of the uses that are appropriate for the dis- trict, when not precisely specified as a permitted, use within that district, and WHEREAS, the Santa Ana First Federal Savings and Loan Association does have approval of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board to es.tablish a limited facility branch office in the immediate vicinity of Red Hill Avenue and Walnut Avenue in the City of Tustin, California, and WHEREAS, a limited facility branch office is restricted to the manning by not more than three full time persons and that said association's capital investment on any said improvements cannot exceed $20,000.00, and the interior floor space may not exceed 1676 square feet as represented by the existing dwelling, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Tustin Planning Commission that the proposed establishment of a limited facility branch office of the Santa Ana First Federal Savings' and Loan Association is determined to be a comparable use in the PR District, subject to the development and signing restrictions of that district, and is authorized by the terms of the Zonin~ Ordinance for the site identified as 14232' 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 17 18 19 20 21 '22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32" Red Hill Avenue in the City of Tustin; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEI~ that the use of land or structures in the Professional District for a Savings and Loan Institution of full service capability is deemed not to 'be an appropriate use in the Profes~sional District.
