BARRANCA STORM DRAIN CHANNEL EXTENSION (F09) PROJECT WHEREAS, the City of Tustin is the Lead Agency for the construction of a storm drain project on Red Hill Avenue located within the cities of Tustin and Santa Ana, Known as the Barranca StormDrain Channel Extension (F09) Project, and WHEREAS, application has been made to the Economic Development Administration for a grant equivalent to thirty-five (35%) per cent of the total project costs with the remaining costs to be shared by the cities of Tustin .and Santa AAa, Flood Control District and Irvine Industrial Complex, and WHEREAS, the proposed project extends for + ~15 miles ~. '~ Avenue within public right the Barranca Channel along ocd }ll~ of way and replaces an open ditch now a hazard to life and safety, and WHEREAS, the proposed project results in no displacement of persons, property or environmental amenities: NOW THEREFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Tustin Does Hereby Resolve that the proposed project of the Barranca Storm Drain Channel Extension (F09) has a Negative Environmental Impact. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the 'Commission shall be hereby directed to furnish copies of this Resolution to all interested public and private agencies for concurrence with these findings.
