U.P. 73-13~ OF CALIFORNIA FEDERAL SAVINGS . The Planning Commission o'f the City of Tustin does hereby' resolve as follows: follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as a) That a proper application (No. U.P. 73-13) was filed on behalf of California Federal Savings and Bell-Pedicini Development for a Temporary Use Permit to allow the use of a portable structure on the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as though set forth herein in full b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application; c) That establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will not, under the circum- stances of this case, be detrimental to the health, safety, morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neigh- borhood of such proposed use, evidenced by the following findings: The use is compatible with authorized uses within the district. 2) ACcomodations shall be provided for vehicle parking and landscape amenities. d) That the establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will not be injurious or detrimental to the property and improvements in the neighborhood of the subject property, nor to the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be granted. e) Proposed development shall be in accordance with the development policies adopted by the City Council, Uniform Building Codes as administered by the Building Official, Fire Code as adminis- tered by the Fire Chief, and street improvement requirements as administered by the City Engineer f) A negative declaration has been determined for the environmental impact of the temporary use,: g) Final development plans shall require the review and approval of the Development Preview Commissio~' 1 2 3 4 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 '22 23 24 25 26 27 30 31 32 Resolution No. 1361~ Page two 2. The planning CommiSsion hereby grants a Use Permit, as applied for, to allow the temporary use of a portable st for a six months time period extending to February 27, 1974 with the further right of extension by the Planning Commission without notice and public hearing upon application, subject to the following conditions: ~. a) Installation of a security system to the satis- faction of the Police Department. b) Installation of exterior parking lot lighting to the satisfaction of staff and Development Previe~ Commission. c) .Satisfaction of the following concerns of the Development Preview Commission: 1) The air conditioning equipment on the side of the trailer shall be screened with extensive landscaping and a fence. 2) A landscaping plan shall be submitted for apProval by the Development Preview Commissic showing the.landscaping that will be installe to soften the appearance of the trailer. 3) A revised sign' plan, with colors, shall be submitted to show a Smaller sign that does not extend above the roof line. · 4) The building and roof colors shall meet the approval of the Development Preview Commiss 5) The permanent planting along 17th Street is be installed to within ten to fifteen feet 'the proposed permanent structure of Califo Federal Savings, within 30 days after the street improvements are completed adjacent to 17th Street. 6) The trailer shall be emplaced 18" off the .ground and with screening of the under- carriage. d) The' completion of street improvements to the s faction of the City Engineer on 17th Street frontage prior to public occupancy. e) Satisfaction of the requirements of the Fire Department to include egress, exit° signing and fire extinguishers placement. 3 4 5 6 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 ~5 17 18 19 2O 21 26 p, esolution No. 1361 page. 3 · PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission..; held on the 27th day of August 1973. ~H~AiR~'O~' THE PLANNiN~ ~OM~ SSi~'~ iNiN-G~OY~MIss!oN ~RECORDING SECRETARY 29 3O COUNTY OF ORANGE ) CITY OF TUSTIN ) I, MARY ANN CHAMBER.LAIN, the undersigned, hereby certifies that she is the Recording Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California; that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed and adopted at a r~l~r meeting o~ the Planning Commission, held on the day of ~~_/~., 1973.
