RESOLUTION NO. 1354
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING REZONING ON
APPLICATION ZC73-5 OF WILLIAM SOMMERVILLE
The Plannin~ Commission of the City of Tustin does
he.reby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That a proper application (No. ZC73-5) has
been filed on behalf of William Sommerville
for a zone change from the R-4 District to
the Planned Development District (PD) for the
property described as lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,
10, 11 of Tract No.5203, Miscellaneous Maps,
Book 181, pp. 35, 36, Records of Orange County,
California, located at 1122-1218 First Street.
b) That a public hearing was duly-called, noticed
and held on said application;
c) That a zone change should be granted to autho-
rize the conversion of a 28 unit apartment
complex to a condominium for the following
reasons:
i) The proposed zone change would be compatible
with adjoining properties and enable the
highest and best use of subject properties.
ii) The proposed zone change would not have a
significant impact upon the environment.
iii) The proposed zone change would be.in con-
formance with the general plan of the
Tustin area.
iv) Conversion of the apartment complex to a
condominium shall require the submission and
approval of a subdivision map and develop-
ment in accordance with Council policy con-
tained in Resolution No.73-35 (Development
Standards and Guidelines).
2. The Planning commission hereby recommends to the
City Council, approval of zone change application
No. ZC73-5 from the R-4 to the Planned Development
(PD) District, as requested.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 13th day of August, 1973.
