The Planning Commission finds and determines: a) That the-Land Use Element of the Tustin Area General Plan designates the area bounded by the Santa Ana ~Freeway, Myford Road, Santa Fe Railroad, and Proposed Jamboree as a planned industrial district. b) That the provisions of the Planning and Zoning Act require that city zoning ordinances be consistent with the general plan of the city. c) That the Irvine Company has filed an Environmental Impact Report and application for a zone change for subject property. 2. The Planning Commission hereby on its own motion, joins in the application of the Irvine Company and schedules for a public hearing on September 24, 1973, the proposed zone change from Planned Community (Residential) to Planned Community (Industrial) for subject property.
