RESOLUTION NO. 1353
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN PLANNING
COMMISSION INITIATING A JOINT APPLICATION
FOR A ZONE CHANGE FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That the-Land Use Element of the Tustin Area
General Plan designates the area bounded by the
Santa Ana ~Freeway, Myford Road, Santa Fe Railroad,
and Proposed Jamboree as a planned industrial
district.
b) That the provisions of the Planning and Zoning Act
require that city zoning ordinances be consistent
with the general plan of the city.
c) That the Irvine Company has filed an Environmental
Impact Report and application for a zone change
for subject property.
2. The Planning Commission hereby on its own motion, joins
in the application of the Irvine Company and schedules
for a public hearing on September 24, 1973, the proposed
zone change from Planned Community (Residential) to
Planned Community (Industrial) for subject property.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 15th day of August, 1973.
