CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 2012-04 – to operate an instructional school use (Springfield College) with a maximum 200 students in an existing 14,919 th square feet office tenant space located at 17542 17 Street, suite 200. The proposed use includes activities such as administration, college classes, tutoring, and counseling. APPLICANT: HELEN WRIGHT SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE 263 ALDEN STREET SPRINGFIELD, MA 01109 PROPERTY OWNER: TUSTIN EXECUTIVE CENTER, LLC 601 FIGUEROA STREET, STE 3400 LOS ANGELES, CA 90017 ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS: THIS PROJECT IS CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT (CLASS 1) PURSUANT TO SECTION 15301 OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. Zoning Administrator Agenda May 09, 2012 Page 2 RECOMMENDATION: That the Zoning Administrator adopt Zoning Administrator Action 12-003 approving Conditional Use Permit 2012-04 to establish an instructional school for a maximum 200 students in an existing 14,919 tenant space th located at 17542 17 Street, Suite 200. Presentation: Edmelynne V. Hutter, Associate Planner The meeting opened at 10:30 a.m. The Acting Zoning Administrator introduced City Staff and asked the attendees to introduce themselves. Elizabeth Hatch, Nadira Charaniya, Dolores Marikian, and Gloria Broming stated they were all present representing the applicant, Springfield College. The Acting Zoning Administrator reviewed the staff report, and asked the representatives in attendance if they had read the conditions of approval for the proposed project and if they had any questions. Ms. Broming stated they had reviewed the conditions, and had no questions for staff. The Acting Zoning Administrator approved Zoning Administrator Action No. 2012-003, approving Conditional Use Permit 2012-04. The meeting adjourned at 10:34 a.m. REGULAR BUSINESS: None ADJOURNMENT: The date of the next meeting of the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled when items are set for hearing.
