RESOLUTION NO. 1293
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
UP72-395, OF FIRST WESTERN BANK AND TRUST CO.
(FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF TUSTIN)
The Planning COmmission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as fOllows:

The Planning Commission finds and determines as follow
a)
That a proper application (No. UP-72-395) was file
on behalf of First Western Bank and Trust Co.
(First Christian Church of Tustin) for a Use Per-
mit to permit the.development of a church and
allied classrooms on the property described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference as though set forth here-
in in full.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, 'noticed and
held on said application;

That establishment, maintenance and operation of
the use applied for will not, under the circum-
stances of this case, be detrimental to the health
safety, morals, comfort or' general welfare of the
persons residing or working in the neighborhood
of such proposed use, evidenced by the following
findings-.
1. That churches are a necessary and beneficial
adjunct to community needs; and,
2. That design driteria for this facility shall
be created by the Development Preview Commis-
sion in a manner so as to provide the maximum
in amenities and the minimum in detrimental
effect to the surrounding area.

That the establishment, maintenance and operation
of the use applied for will not be injurious or
detrimental to the property and improvements in
the neighborhood of the subject property, nor to
the general welfare of the City of Tustin, and
should be granted.

Proposed development shall be in accordance with
the development policies adopted by the City Coun-
cil, Uniform Building Codes as administered by the
Building Official, Fire Code as administered by
the Fire Chief, and street improvement require-
ments as administered by the City Engineer.

Final development .plans shall require the review
and approval of the Development Preview Commission
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit, as
applied for, to permit the development of a church and allied class.

a) That the three phase development of this facility
shall be accomplished in accordance with a master
plan to be reviewed and approved by the Develop-
ment Preview Commission.
b) That at the time Phase III is completed, a mutu~
parking agreement approved by the City Attorney
with the property adjacent and to the southeast
shall be filed and recorded with the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 9th day of October, 1972.
