RESOLUTION NO. 1287
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING REZONING ON APPLICATION NO.
(ZC-72-232, PLANNING COMMISSION INITIATED
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds' and determines:
a)
That a proper:.application (NO. ZC-72-232) has been.
initiated by the Planning Commission for a zone ~
change from the C-1 (Retail Commercial) District to
the P-C (Planned Community-Commercial) District of
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached here-
to and incorporated herein by this reference as
though set forth herein in full.
b) .That a public hearing was duly called, noticed amd
held on Said application;
c)
That a zone change should be granted for the follow-
ing reasons- -
1) That subject action is conjunctive with the pre-
zoning (PZ-72-136) of two adjacent parcels to the
north, intended to be developed by expansion of
existing structures and uses located on subject par-
cel.
2) That subject rezoning is commensurate with the
indications of the General Plan, and existing uses
and structures.
d) Development of subject property shall be in accord.
ance with the policies adopted by the City COuncil
Uniform Building Codes as administered by the Buil,
ing Official, Fire Code as administered by the Fire'!
Chief, and street improvement requirements as ad-
ministered bY the'City Engineer.
e) Final ~evelopment plans shall require the review and
approval of the Development Preview Commission.
2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to, the City
Council approval of zone change application N~. ZC-72-232 from the
C-1 District to the PC District.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 11th day of September, 1972.
