RESOLUTION NO. 1281
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
UP-72-390 OF STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follo~~
a)
That a proper application (NO. UP-72-390) was file
on behalf of Standard Oil Company_gl California for
a Use Permit to permit the renovation of an exist-
ing, non-conforming service station, on the property
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by this reference as though set forth
herein in full.
b)
That a public hearing was duly called; noticed and
held on said application;
c)
That establishment, maintenancE' and operation of the
use applied for will not, under the circumstances~
of this case, be detrimental to the health, safety,
morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such pro-
posed use, evidenced by the following findings:
1)
The facility has been in existence for many
years; and,
d)
2) The proposed renovation will provid, e a decided
upgrading to the surrounding area.
That the establishment, maintenance and operation '
the use applied for will not be injurious or detri-
mental to the property and improvements in the neigh-
borhood of the subject property, nor to the g..neral
welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be granted.
e)
Proposed development shall be in accordance with the
development policies adopted by the City Council,
Uniform Building Codes as administered by the Build-
ing Official, Fire Code as administered by the Fire
Chief, and street improvement requirements as a~min-
istered by the City Engineer.
f) Final development plans shall require the review and
approval of the Development Preview Commission.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit, as
applied for, to permit the renovation of an existing, non-conforming
service station site, subject to the following conditions:
a)
Conformance to those site standards established
by City Council Policy No. 30-1 (Service Station
Minimum Site Development Guide).

b) The installation of one street light on Nisson
Road, complete with underground conduit electrical
service, as previously required by UP-72-385.
