HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 127910 11 12 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 50 RESOLUTION NO. 1279 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING FOR PREZONING ON APPLICATION PZ~72-134, INITIATED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION The Planning CommisSion of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. .The'Planning Commission finds and determines: a) That'a proper application (NO. PZ-72-13_4) has been Initiated by the Planning Commission for a prezone change' from the Orange County M-1 District to the City of Tustin P-C (Planned Community-Commercial) District of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as though set forth herein in full. b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application; c) That a prezone change should be' granted for the following reasons: 1) That the existing industrial zoning is incon- gruous to the area in question; and, 2) That the proposed Planned Community-Commercial zoning is much more appropriate to that area and the indications of the General"Plan. 3) That the subject property is in the proximity of the proposed civic center and should be classified to a complimentary land use. · d) Development of subject property shall'be in accord' ance with the policies adopted by the City Council, uniform Building Godes as administered by the Build- ing Official, Fire Code as administered by the Fire · Chief, and street improvement requirements as admin- istered by the City Engineer. e) Final deVelopment. plans shall require the review and. approval of the Development Preview Commission. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council approval of zone change application No. PZ-72-134 from the Orange County M-1 (Light Industrial) District to the City of Tustin , P-C (Planned Community-Commercial) District, subje?t to the follow-i. -.
