HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1268§ 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 15 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 .22 24 25 26 27 28 29 RESOLUTION NO. 1268 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RECOMMENDING CITY COUNCIL ADOPTION OF THE OPEN SPACE - CONSERVATION AND RECREATION ELEMENT OF THE TUSTIN AREA GENERAL PLAN. The Planning Commission of the City of Tus~in'does hereby resolve a~ follows: 1. Sections 65302, 65303 (3)' and 65563 of the Government Code (State Planning and Zoning Daw) require that cities adopt General Plan Elements and that the Conservation Element be adopted by July 1, 1972. 2. There is an inter-relationship of COnservation, open- space, and recreation making it desirable to incorporate these )lanning elements into one planning document. 3. Guidelines for the preparation of a consolidated plan =-lement have been distributed by agencies of the State of California 4. An inventory of open space, natural resources and rec- reation facilities for the Tustin area has been compiled and apl _=lement has ·been prepared for Commission consideration. 5. A public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on ~aid proposed amendment to the Tustin Area General Plan. 6. Said plan has been distributed to a,djoining cities and , ~gencies of Orange County for coordination and comment pursuant to ~ection 65305 of the Government Code. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Iouncil the adoption of the Open Space - Conservation -'Recreation Element of the Tustin Area General Plan.
