UP-71-376, OF STANDARD OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines as follow a) That a proper application (No. UP-71-376) was filed on behalf of Standard Oil Company of California for a Use Permit to permit a.revolving sign on the property located at the northeast- erly corner of the intersection of Newport Avenue and Irvine Boulevard, knOwn as 13052 Newport Avenu~ b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application. c) That establishment, maintenance and operation of the use applied for will, under the .circumstances of this case, be detrimental to the health, safety morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such proposed use, evidenced by the following findings: (1) That it has been a policy of the City not to grant, such requests; and, (2) That the present request offers no justifia' reason to make it an exception to this polio1 d) That the establishment, maintenance and operation of th'e use applied for will be injurious or detri- mental to the property and improvements in the neighborhood of the subject property, and to ~he general welfare of the City of Tustin, and should not be granted. 2. The Planning Commission hereby denies a Use Permit, as applied 'for, to permit a revolving sign.
