HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1215 2 4 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 14 15 16 17 24 25 26 27 28 29 50 32 RESOLUTION NO. 1215 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING THE ADOPTION OF THE EL CAMINO REAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN ('SPECIFIC PLAN NO. 1). The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does hereby resolve 'as follows: :~ 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines: a) That the economic health of the Central Busines: District is essential to a viable community. b) That the E1 Camino Real area of the city betweer First and SiXth Streets. has the potential for a community attraction or urban deterioration c) That a plan for the purpose of stimulating and encouraging development and redevelopment of the area has been presented, noticed and subjected to public hearing; d) That proposed plan'has been endorsed by the Downtown Business Association and the Tustin Now and Tomorrow Committee. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council the adoption of the E1 Camino Real Development Plan (Specific Plan No. 1), pursuant to Article 9, Chapter 1880 of the Government Code of the State of California. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 10th day of May, 1971 /OFf'day of ~;~~ , 1971.
