A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN GRANTING A USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
U.P. 71-358, OF HAROLD A. LINDGREN.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin Does hereby
resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds an~ determines as folloWs:
a) That a proper application (No. U.P. 71-358) was filed
on behalf of Harold A. Lindgren, dba Bel Air Motel,
for a Use Permit to allow use of a 24 x '60 foot
mobile home as a temporary motel and construction
office with temporary living quarters for the manager
during construction of the new motel facilities on
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by this reference as though
set forth herein in full.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and
held on said application;
c) That establishment, maintenance and operation of the
use applied for will not, under the circumstances of
this case, be detrimental to the health, safety,
morals, comfort or general welfare of the persons
residing or working in the neighborhood of such
proposed use, evidenced by the following findings:
1. That temporary office structures for contractors,
during construction, are permitted by right,
2. That the original motel office was temporarily in-
activated as a result of the relocation of structure
it was located in,
3. That all Building and Fire Code Requirements have

been satisfied, and
4. The applicants have indicated the mobile home would
be removed upon completion of the motel reconstruc-
tion or within a period of eight months, whichever
is sooner.
d) That the establishment, maintenance and operation of
the use applied for will not be injurious or detri-
mental to the property and improvements in the neighbo~
hood of the subject property, nor to the general
welfare of the City of Tustin, and should be granted.
e) Proposed development and use shall be in accordance
with the development policies adopted by the City
Council, Uniform~Building Codes as administered by
the Building Official, and Fire Code as administered
by the Fire Chief.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Use Permit, as
applied for, to allow the use of a 24 x 60 foot mobile home as temporary
motel and construction office with temporary living quarters for the
manager, during construction of new motel facilit.ies, subject to the
following condition:
That subject mobile-home structure shall be removed from
the site upon completiOn? of the motel reconstruction or within
eight months, whichever is sooner.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission, held on the 22nd day of February, 1971.

recorded in Book 4, Page 218 of Miscellaneous Records in the
Office of the County Recorder of said County. Also. Lot
6, ~f Block 4, Tustin City Tract.
