HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1191 RESOLUTION NO. 1191 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE (NO. 157) FOR MEDICAL-DENTAL ON-SITE PARKING REQUIREMENTS. The Planning Commission of the City of .Tustin does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Commiss'ion finds and determines: a) That an amendment to SectiOn 4.14 (Pr District) and 4.7 (c-i District), Ordinance No. 157 was initiated by resolution of the Planning Commission to require additional on-site parking accommodation~ for medical and dental facilities. , b) That said amendment was initiated at the request of the Development Preview Commission on the basis that the existing criteria of one space per each 300 sq.ft. of gross floor area is inadequate to satisfactorily accommodate the on-site parking requirements for. medical and dental facilities. c) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said amendment. 2. The Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City Council approval of an amendment to Sections 4.14 and 4.7, Ordinance No. 157 to read: Medical-Dental Professional uses: 6 on-site parking spaces per 1,000 sq. ft. of gross floor area. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission on the 9th day of NOVEMBER ,1970.
