A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
U. P. 70-344 OF L. J. LECHMAN ON BEHALF OF

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California!,
and held .on Use Permit application (UP-70-344),
for authority to establish .an automatic car wash
facility, for property fronting approximately 50
feet on the southwest side of Laguna Road, approxL
imately 500 feet southeast of the centerline of
Newport Avenue, and;
b)
That the proposed use would be compatible to the
surrounding area as a result of adjacent uses and
the proximity of the Santa Ana Freeway.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Conditional
Use Permit, as applied ~or, subject to the following conditions:

Adoption by the City Council of a zoning classifi-
cation for subject property to the C-2 District. ~

Compliance with the stipulated requirements of tke
City Engineer to include street and sidewalk im-
provements, street tree locations, and relocation
or reconstruction of existing irrigation lines,
submission and approval of a Parcel ~.~ap, and
widening of the southeastern access drive width to
Laguna Road to 12 feet.
c) Compliance with the requirements of the Fire Coda
as stipulated by the Fire Chief.
d)
Review and apProval of final development plans by
the Development Preview Commission.
e)
Adequate supervision of the facility during
operation hours to insure the proper ..cleanliness
and policing of the site to avoid the existen'c of
a public nuisance.
