A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A VARIANCE

The Planning Commission of the City of 'Tus'tin, California,
6 does hereby resolve as follows:

1, The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That a proper application (No. V. 69-247) was
filed on behalf of Tustin Carpets for a variance
to permit certain signs on the property described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference.

b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
and held on said application.
That the adjustment hereby authorized will not
constitute a grant of special privilege
inconsistent with the limitations upon other
properties in the vicinity and district in which
the subject property is situated.

d) That because of special circumstances applicah
to the subject property, including size, shape.
topography, location or surroundings, the stri~,
application of the Zoning Ordinance will deprive
subject property of privileges enjoyed by other
properties in the vicinity and under identical
zone classification.
e) That said variance should be granted.

2. A Variance is hereby granted as applied for to
a) One (1) roof sign 10' X 15' 150 s . ft. each

side, total area not to exceed 300 sq. ft.
The sign shall not project further into the
public right-of-way than two feet back from the
face of the curb. The sign shall not extend more
than 16' above the top of the parapet.
b) The two wall signs of 120 sq. ft. each side be
removed from the east and west walls.
