RESOLUTION NO. 1083
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A VARIANCE
ON APPLICATION NO. V. 69-246 OF ALPHA BETA ACME
MARKETS.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California
does hereby resolve as follows:

1. The Planning commission finds and determines:
a) That a proper application (No. V-69-246) was filed
On behalf of ALPHA BETA ACME MARKETS for certain
signs on the property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
reference.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and
held on said application. ~
c) That the adjustment hereby authorized will not
constitute a grant of special privilege'
inconsistent with the limitations upon Other
properties in the vicinity and district.' in which
the subject property is situated.
d) That because of special circumstances ~applicable
to the subject property, including size, shape,
topography, location or surroundings, the strict
application of the Zoning Ordinance will deprive
subject property of privileges enjoyed by other
properties in the vicinity and under identical
zone classification.
e) That said variance should be granted.
2. AVariance is hereby, granted, as applied for, to
permit-.
a) 1 free standing sign within the setback area from
Red Hill Avenue with the copy "Alpha Beta Center"
maximum height 21. feet, maximum area per side
149 square ft. and maximum area all sides 298 sq.
b) 1 wall sign facing Red Hill Avenue, copy reading
"Alpha Beta" having a maximum total area of 320
sq. ft. and located as shown on the plans
submitted with the application.
c) 1 wall sign on the southwesterly side of the
building to be occupied by Alpha Beta, having
copy reading "Alpha Beta Tustin" a maximum total
area of 42 sq. ft. and the specific location
subject to the approval of the Planning Director.
