A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A CONDI-
TIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. U.P. 69-298
OF SEABOARD ENGINEERING, ON BEHALF OF GULF OIL COMPANY

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, Cali-
fornia, does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That a proper application (No. U.P. 69-298)
was filed on behalf of GULF OiL COMPA)~; to
permit construction of a ?5-foot flag pole on
the property described in Exhibit "A' attached
hereto.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
and held on said application.
c). That the establishment, maintenance ~ud opera-
tion of the use applied for will not, under the
circumstances of the particular case, be detri-
mental to the health, safety, morals, comfort
and general welfare of the persons residing or
working in the neighborhood of the proposed use~
and it will not be injurious or detrimental t¢
the property and improvements in the neighbor-
hood or the general welfare of the City.
d). That a Conditional Use Permit should be granted

2. A Conditional Use Permit is hereby granted as
applied for, to permit construction of a.65-foot flag pole on the
subject property. .
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 28th day

LEGAL DESCRIPTION
A portion of the southwest 19 acre parcel shown on Felipe Yorba Tract recorded
in Book 4, page 206, Miscellaneous records of Los Angeles County, more
particularly described as folloWS:
Commencing at the intersection of the surveyed centerlines of Tustin Avenue
and First Street as laid out by the California Highway Commission; thence
north 0° 17' 45" west 76.82 feet along the center line of Tustin Avenue;
thence at right angles to said centerline north 89° 42' 15" east 50.00 feet
to a point on the east right of way line of said Tustin Avenue and the true
point of beginning of this description; thence north 0° 17' 45" west 123.06
feet, along the east line of said Tustin Avenue; thence north 89° 50' 11"
east 145.41 feet, along a line drawn parallel to the centerline of First
Street, to.~a point in the westerly right of way line of the Newport Freeway;
thence south 9° 45' 42" west 152.27 feet, along said westerly line, to a
point in the north line of First Street; thence south 89° 50' 11" west 91.88
feet, along said north line, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
northeasterly and having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence along said curve thru
a central angle of 89° 52' 04" an arc length of 42.35 feet to a point in the
easterly line of Tustin Avenue and the point of beginning°
Containing 0.45 of an acre of land, more or less.
Subject to an easement over the easterly 10 feet of said land for Santa Ama
Valley Irrigation Company pipelines°
