DEVINE ON BEHALF OF HUMBLE OIL AND REFINING COMPANY. . , , REFINING COM~A~ . The Plannin~ Commission of ~he City of Tustin~ California~ does hereby resolve as follows:' 1. The Planning Commission finds and determines: a) That a proper application (No. V. 69-238) was filed on behalf of M. H. Devine on behalf of Humble Oil and Refining Company, for a variance to permit the replacement of two (2) exist~.ng nonconforming free-standing pole s&gns with one (1) free-standing pole sign with a height o~2 28' 2", an area of 93 sq. ft. per side, a total o_~ 186 sq. ft. total area, within the required set- back area and revolving .on the property described in Exhibit A .attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed ' and held on said application. c) That the adjustment hereby authorized' will not constitute a grant of special privilege incon- sistent with the limitations upon ot!:er proPertie~ in the vicinity and district in which the subjecti property is situated. d) That because' of special circumstances applicable to the subject property, including size, shape, topography, location or surroundings, the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance will deprive subject property of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and under identical zone classification. e) The variance should be granted 2.
