Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California · does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The Planning Co~mission finds and determines: a) That a proper application (No. V. 69-235) was filed on behalf of Fred J. Barbour on behalf of Franargofin, for a variance to permit constructio of signs: 1) one pole sign with an area of 502 sq. ft. and height of 30 feet, 2) three "Ken- tucky Beef" roof signs each with an area of 80.5 sq. ft. total area of 241.5 sq. ft. and 3) total sign area of 743.5 sq. ft. on the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incor- porated herein by this reference. · b)' That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application. c) That the adjustment hereby authorized will not constitute a grant of special privilege incon- : sistent with the limitations upon other propertie in the vicinity and district in which the subject property is situated. d) That because of special circumstances applicable to the subject property, including size, shape, topography,. ].ocation or surroundings, the strict application of the Zoning 'Ordinance will deprive subject property of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and under identical, zone classification. e) That said variance should be granted. 2. A variance is hereby granted, as applied for, to permit signs as follows: a) One pole sign with~.n the required front setback area with a maximum total area of 238 sq. ft. tot for both sides and a maximum height of 27 ft. b) 3 roof signs to be located on the mansard roof below the top roof line, each with a maximum'are, of 40 sq. ft. and maximum total area of 120 sq'. f' c) Total-sign area on the site of 358 sq. ft. d) No oscillating, scintillate, or flashing lights shall be permitted. ~ : 1 4 5 .6 ?
