HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC RES 1052RESOLUTION NO. 1052 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. V-69-234 OF EUGENE F. AND RITA C. TUTT. · o. The Planning Commission of the city of Tustin, California, does hereby resolve as follows: · · 1. The Planning 'Commission finds and determines: · '-2 a) That a proper application (No V-69 34) was filed filed on behalf of Eugene F. and Rita C. Tutt for ; a variance to permit (1) freeway identification sign within the required setback area, 80 ft. in height, total area of 738 sq. ft. (2) a local identification sign within required setback area, 20 feet in height, total area Of 90 sq. ft. (3) a "Mr. Up" restaurant wall sign, 7 sq. ft., (4) a Shell Oil. wall sign, 25 sq. ft. and (5) total sign area of 860 sq. ft. on the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. · b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held on said application. c) That the adjustment hereby authorized will not constitute a'grant of special privilege, incon- sistent with' the limitations upon other properties in the vicinity and district in which the subject' · property is situated. d) That because 6f special circumstances applicable to the subject property', including size, shape, topography, location or surroundings, the strict application of the Zoning Ordinance will deprive subject property of privileges enjoyed by other properties in the vicinity and under identical zone classification. e) That said variance should be granted. - 2. A variance is hereby granted as applied for.
