A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO. U.P. 69-284 OF
WARREN FINLEY ON BEHALF OF CANYON COMPANY

The Planning Con%mission of the City of Tustin, California
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Conm~ission finds and determines:
a)
That a proper application (No. U.P. 69-284) was
filed on behalf of warren Finley on behalf of
Canyon Company for a use permit to allow a
convalescent hospital on the property described i
Exhibit A attached hereto and. inco.rporated herein'
by this reference.
b)

That a.public .hearing .was duly called, noticed
and held on said application. :
The Conmmission finds that the establishment,
maintenance and operation of the use applied for
will not, under the circumstances of the particul
case be detrimental to the health, safety, mora].s
comfort and general welfare of 'the persons residi
or working in the neighborhood of the proposed
use and it will not be injurious or detrimental t
the property and improvements 'in the neighborhood
or the general welfare of the City.
d)
As additional grounds, the minutes and evidence
introduced at the hearing are included by referen~
and made a part of the motion.
2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a Conditional

Use Permit to permit a ninety-nine bed extended care facility
(convalescent hospital) subject to the following conditions:
a) That previous action of the Architectural
Committee be complied with.
b) That street right-of-way be granted in accordance
with the Master Plan of Arterial Highways.
c) That asphaltic concrete pavement, curb, sidewalk
and street trees be installed.
d) That street lights be installed.
That plans be submitted .to the State Fire Marshall
for approval.
f)
That access roads be of adequate width for operat~
of Fire Department Pumpers.
That fire hydrants be s~aced and approved by the
Fire Department.
h) That parking standards' be as follows: One (].)
space/each six (6) patient beds plus one (1)
space/each staff member or doctor plus one (1)
space/each three (3) additional employees.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 10th day
of February, 1969
