A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A VARIANCE ON
APPLICATION NO. V 69-229 OF DONALD P. PETERSON.

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a)- That a proper application (No. V. 69-229) was
filed on behalf of Donald P. Peterson for a
variance to permit certain signs on the property
described in Exhibit A. attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by this reference.
b) That a public hearing was duly called, noticed
~nd held on said application.
C) That the 'adjustment hereby authorized will not
constitute a grant of special privilege incon-
sistent 'with the limitations upon otheP propertie
Xn the vicinity and ~istrict in which the subject
property .is. situated.
d') That because of special circtm~stances applicable
to the subject property, including size, shape,
topography, location or surroundings, the strict
application of the Zoning 'Ordinance will deprive
subject property of privileges enjoyed by other
properties in the vicinity and under identical
zone classification.

2. The Planning Commission hereby grants a variance, to
a) A pole sign in the front setback area, height 24
ft., 6 ft. X 8 ft., 48 sq. ft. each side, total
area 96 sq. ft., non-rotating.
b) A wall sign to be located on the facia of the
canopy in front of the part of the building
occupied by Tippy's, 10 ft. X 2 ft., total area
20 sq. ft.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 10th day of February,
1969
