A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING DENIAL
ON APPLICATION NO. P.Z. 68-114 OF RINKER

The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The Planning Commission finds and determines:
a) That an application (No. P. Z. 68-114) was filed
on behalf of Rinker for prezoning to the PC
(Planned Community) zone of the property described
in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference.
b) That a public hearing was duly Called, noticed
and held on said application.
c) That the proposed use conflicts with the Tustin
Area General Plan which designates the subject
area as Medium Density Residential (4 dwelling
units per acre).
· d) That need for additional commercial zoning and
modification of the General Plan has not been
shown. _~ ~-
e) That within one-half mile of the .subject property
there are three existing shopping centers including
the proposed uses.
f) That the minutes and evidence introduced at the
hearing are included by reference as additional
grounds.
g) That there is sufficient commercially-zoned
property in the general area which is unused.
h) That the proposed pre-zoning should be recommended
for denial.
2. The Planning Commission recommends that said appli-
cation for Pre-zoning be denied.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 27th day of'
January, 1969.
