A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A
VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. V 68-206 OF HON.

VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. V. 6~-z'2-0%6--O-l.~-IlON.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin does
hereby resolve as follows'
follows'
1) The Planning Commission finds and determines as
a) That a proper application (No. V. 68-206) was
duly filed on behalf of lton to permi't certain
signs on the property described in Exhibit A
attached hereto.
b) That public hearings were duly called, noticed
and held on said app.lication.
c) That said variance would not constitute a
grant of special privilege inconsistent with
the limitations upon other properties in the
vicinity and district in which the subject
property is located.
d) That because of gpecial circumstances
applicable to the.subject. property. , including
size, shape, topography, location and surround-
ings, the strict application of the Zoning
Ordinance will deprive the subject property of
privileges enjoyed by other ~ropertJ_es in the
vicinity and under identical, zone classification.
2) The Planning Commission hereby grants a variance as
applied for, to permit signs as follows'
a) Shell pole sign at the intersection of !,'lc.~adden
and Tustin Village Way within the required set-
back area, 20 feet high, 42 square feet on each
side and a total area of 84 souare feet.
b) Shell freeway identification pole sign on east
boundary of service station site, 60 feet high,
14~ square feet on each side and an area of 288
square feet.
c) Shell wall sign of 5.6 square feet.
d) "Service is our business, wall sign, of 11.6
square feet.
e) Farm house freeway identification sign on east
boundary of total site, within' required setback
area, windmill portion to revolve during hours
business is open, S8 feet. high, 341_ squnre feet
each side, and a total area of 682 square feet.
