PZ-68-106 The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, ~oe's resolve as' follows:. 1. The Planning Commission finds and '~etermines: a) That prezoning proceedings were regularly commenced to change the zone to M (Industrial) zone, effective upon completion of annexation proceedings of the property described in Exhibit A attached hereto. b) That the proposed zoning would confOrm to the Tustin Area General Plan. c) That additional tax base will be provided for the City and the Elementary and High School Districto d) That the. possibility will be provided to create basic jobs for Tustin residents whiCh will further . help.existing and future service businesses. 2. SEC~-TARY OF THE PLANNING C0~ibIISSION Beginning at an angle point in the existing bOundary of the City of Tustin, California, as establi'shed by the Red Hill - Walnut Annexation by Ordinance No. 343, dated March 20, 1967, said angle point being the intersection of the Northwesterly line of Lot 62, Block 11 of the Irvine Subdivision as per map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of the County Recorjer of Orange County, California, with the North- easterly right of way line of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company right-of way, 100 feet wide, ' ~ thence South 50° 10' 50" East along said City boundary and along said Northeasterly right of way line 1,320 feet, more or ]ess, to the intersection of said Northeasterly right of way line with the Northeasterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of Lot 67, Block 10 of said Irvine Subdivision; thence South 40° 02' 59" West, departing from said City boundary, along said Southeasterly line of Lot 67 and its pro- longation 1,370.15 feet to the South corner of said Lot 67; thence North 50° 10' 50" West alon9 the Southwesterly line of said Lot 67 a distance of 1,320 feet, more or less to the West corner of said Lot 67 and to the South corner of Lot 66, Block 10 of said Irvine SubdiviSion; thence continuing North 50° 10' 50" West along the Southwesterly line of said lot 66 to a line which is parallel with and 50f. 00 feet Northwesterly, measured at right angles from the Southeasterly line of said Lot 66, said parallel line being the existing'boundary of the City of Tustin, California, as established by the Red Hill - Valencia Annexation by Ordinance No. 290, dated September 7, 1965; thence North 40o 00' 00" East along said City Boundary'and along said parallel line 351.10 feet to a point on the existing boundary of the City of Tustin established by the Warner-Sycamore Annexation by Ordihance No. 245, dated December 2, 1963, said point also being on the Northeast line of the Southwest 351.10 feet of Lot 66 of said Block 10; thence South 5~ 10'50" East 50.00 feet along said Warner-Sycamore Annexation, also being along said Northeast line of said Southwest 351.10 feet of said Lot 66, to a point on the Southeast line of said Lot 66, said Southeast line also being the centerline of Red Hill Avenue; ~ thence North 4~ 02' 59" East 530 feet, more or less, along said Warner-Sycamore Annexation, also being along.the Southeast line of said Lo% 66 to the Southwest line of Edinger Avenue (80 feet wide); thence North 5~ 10' 50" West 755.76 feet along'said Warner- Sycamore Annexation, also being along said Southwest line of Edinger Avenue %0 the Southwesterly prolongation of the Northwest line of that certain parcel of land conveyed to Mullin Lumber Company by deed recorded in Book' 4909, ~age 154, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence North 39o 49' 10" East ~80.00 feet along, said Warner-Sycamore Annexation, also being along said Southwesterly prolongation and along said Northwest line and the Northeast prolongation thereof to a point on the Northeast right of w'ay line of %he Atchison, ~opeka and Santa Fe Railroad (100 feet wide); thence South 50° 10' 50" East 755.76 feet along said Warner-Sycamore Annexation, also being said Northeast right of way line to the point of beginning. , EXHIBIT A
