ORDINANCE NO. 240
AN 0RDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, CHANGING PROPERTY FROM
THE "U" TO THE "C-1" ZONE. PROPERTY
0F PLUM (APPLICATION Z. C 63-128)
The City Council of the City of Tustin,
California, does ordain as follows:
1. The City Council finds and determines
that a proper application (No. ZC 63-128) was filed
by Plum for change of zone from the "U" to the "C-i"
zone., the property described as:
That portion of Lot G of the Stafford and
Tustin Tract, as shown on a map recorded in BoOk 2,
Page 618 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot G
,
said corner being the intersection of the south line
of Main Street (80.00 feet wide) with the intersec-
tion of the East line of Williams Street (66.00 feet
wide) as shown on said map; thence North 88°51'45"
East 166.18 feet along the said South line of Main
Street to the Northwest corner of that certain parcel
of land conveyed t:o the State of California by deed
recorded August 5, 1954, in Book 2785, Page 254 of
of.Official Records of Orange County; thence South
1°08' 15" East 10.00 feet along the westerly line
of. said land of the State of California; thence
North 880 51' 45" East 174.68 feet along the Southerly
line of said land of the State of California- thence
South 0 46'15" East 376.24 feet parallel to ~he East
0 0
line of Willjams Street; thence South 88 51'45" West
340.86 feet to a point0' the E st line of Willjams
Street; thence North 0 g~' 15" ~est 386.24 feet along
said Easterly line of said Willjams Street to the
point of beginning.
The above described land contains 3.00
acres, more or less.
2. The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and
held apublic hearing on said application on 8-26-63,
and recommended against said zone change.
3. The City Council duly called, noticed and held a
Public Hearing on said application on 9-16-63.
4. The City Council finds and determines that said
zone change is in the best interests of the subject
property, adjoining properties and adjacent uses,
and is in harmony with the general plan of the City
of Tustin, California
5- The City Council hereby changes the aforesaid
property to the "C-i" zone, the building set back
lines are established 48' from the centerline of
Williams Street and 55' from the centerline of
Main Street, with a 15' corner cut off, and the zoning
map of the city is amended accordingly.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Tustin, held
on the 21st day of October, 1963.
