RESOLUTION NO. 894
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING CONDITIONAL
APPROVAL OF APPLICATION V-67-188 of TRANS-ROBLES.
The planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California
does resolve as follows:
1) The Planning Commission finds and determines that:
a) A proper application (No. V-67-188) was filed
on behalf of Trans-Robles for a Variance to permit certain
signs on the property lying between Marshall, Santa Clara,
Yorba and Laurie Lane;
b) That a hearing was duly called, noticed and held on
said application;
c) That the subject property, due to peculiar geographi
circumstances, is more restricted by the regulations of the
zone in which the property is located than other properties
that zone and area; the variance, as granted, .will not be
detrimental to surrounding properties and uses.
2) A variance as applied for is hereby granted, subject
to the terms and
conditions hereinafter specified:
a) The existing sign located at Seventeenth and Yorba
Streets (indicated by the letter "a" on the attached Locati
Map marked Exhibit A) may be utilized for six (6) months
from the date of this action.
b) The existing sign Located at Carroll Way and Santa
Clara (location I'd") may be utilized for six (6) months
from the date of this action. ·
c) The existing sign (location "e") in the right-of-
way of .Marshall Lane may be utilized for six (6) months
the date of this action° Provided, however, that the
applicant shall post a cash bond with the City of Tustin
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for the removal
of said sign and that the City may require the removal of
said sign prior to the expiration of the six (6) month use
period by giving notice to the applicant, in writing, at
least thirty (30) days prior to such removal.
d) The existing signs at locations "b", "c" and "f"
shall be removed.
e) One sign, not in excess of 32 square feet total ares
shall be permitted at the intersection of Laurie Lane and
Yorba Street for a period of six (6) months from the date
of this action whic sign shall comply with all of the re-
quirements of Section 31.00 Ordinance 305, including
bonding requirements.

f) That the applicant may, by letter, apply to the
Planning Commission for a maximum extension of the above
granted uses of six (6) months, provided such application
is made prior to the expiration of six (6) months from
the date of this action.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, held on the 26th day of
June, 1967.
