The Planning Commission hereby finds and determines ? that proper application (V.67-182) was duly filed on behalf~of 8 THONER, for the property on the east side of Tustin Village Way, at 9 the intersection of Alliance Avenue, in the City of Tustin, to per- l0 mit construction of carports on the front one-half of the Lot which ll do not meet required setbacks, and which are not attached to main 12 buildings, and an O-foot sideyard setback for carports along the 13 southerly line of the property. 14 2. The Planning Commission duly called, noticed and held 1.5 a public hearing on said application. . .16 3. That by reason of special circumstances applicable 17 to the subject property, including size, shape, topography, location 18 and surroundings of the said property, strict application to the 19 Zoning Ordinance would deprive it of privileges enjoyed by other pro. 20 perties in the same vicinity and under identical zoning classifica-~ 21 tion. 22 4. That the proposed adjustment would not constitute a 23 grant of special privilege inconsistent with the limitations upon 24 other properties in the vicinity and district in which the subject 25 is located, and Should be granted. 26 5. The Planning Commission hereby grants a variance to' 27 permit construction of accessory buildings (carports).on the front 28 one-half of the Lot, which do not meet the requirements 'for main 29 buildings, and which are not attached to main buildings, and to per- 30' mit an O-foot sideyard setback for carports along the southerly 31 property line, subject ~o the following conditions: 32 a) That recommendatic~ of the Fire Department be 1 5 ? 8 9 10 11 12 complied with. b) That the property be approved by the Architec- tural Review Committee PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Plan- ning Commission of the City of Tustin, C~lifornia, held on the 24th day of April , 1967.
