DEFINITION OF FRONT YARD AND SIDE YARD. The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, does resolve as follows: After a public hearing was duly called, noticed and held, the Planning Commission recommends adoption of an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance in the form attacted hereto marked Exhibit "A". PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 10th day of April, 1967 ,,, , , day of ....... [~ONE 147.el81 ... .... ....... ~JXH[[BIT A ORDINANCE NO. ~df'~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CiTY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 157, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO HEIGHT AND LOCATION OF _FENCES~ HEDGES AND WALLS~ AND DEFINITION OF "FRONT YARD" AND "SIDE YARD". The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby ordain that the Zoning Ordinance Mo. 157, as amended, be amended as follows: Sgction 1: Sub-section A 1 of Section 5.11 is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. No fence, hedge or wall over three (3) feet in height shall be erected in the required front yard setback. No fence, hedge or wall over three (3) feet in height shall be constructed in any required rear yard abutting the front yard of an adjoining lot unless approved, in writing, by the Planning Department. Section 2. Section 11.520 is hereby amended to read as follows: · . 11.520 '"YARD-FRONT". A yard extending across the full width of the lut, the depth of which is measured from the front line of the lot to the nearest line of the building; provided, however, that if any Official Plan Line has been established for the street upon which the lot faces, the front yard measUrement shall be taken from such Official Plan' Line to the nearest line of the building. section 3- Section 11.540 is hereby amended to read as follows 11.540 "YARD- SIDE".A yard betWeen the side line of the lot and the nearest line of the building and extend- ing from the front yard to the rear yard.
