The District funds various items within the Tustin Ranch area: Parkway, Trail & Slope Landscaping • Arterial and Collector Street Lighting • Local Residential Street Lighting • 760 lights total in District Tustin Landscape and Lighting District Benefit Area A W Benefit Area B Benefit Area C 7 `.1 BENEFIT AREAS Arterial and Collector Lighting (ACLT) Parkway, Slope, and Trail Landscaping (PSTL) Local Residential Street Lighting (LRLT) The table below summarizes the assessment amounts per Equivalent Dwelling Unit (EDU) for each Benefit Area: $11.39 / EDU $100.79 / EDU $8.29 / EDU $64.89 / EDU $103.01 / EDU Proposed FY 2012-13 Budget = Proposed District Assessments = Estimated Balance Transfer from RAD 95-1 Construction Fund = $726.1700 $520.1674 $206.1026 • Maintenance of improvements that provide general benefit cannot be funded by the District assessment. • Arterial street lighting and slopes along the eastside of Jamboree Road provide general benefit. • Removing the maintenance cost for these areas decreases the total assessments for the District by $80,025. • The cost to maintain these general benefit areas will be funded by the RAD 95-1 Construction Fund.
