RESOLUTION NO. 856
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ADOPTIONS
OF ORDINANCES RESTRICTING PARKING AND STORAGE
OF HEAVY VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustln,
'California, does resolve as follows:
After public hearing duly called, noticed and
held, the Planning Commission recommends adoption of ordinances
attached hereto marked Exhibits A and B respectively.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, held on the 8th
day of August, 1966.

The City Council of. the City of Tustin, California, does

~nat the Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 157, as ~uended,:

of the City of-Tustin, California, is hereby amended by the addi-
tion thereto of the following:
Section 5,211- Co=u~ercia! type vehicles (including buses,trucks,,
or any vehicle displaying advertising matter),
house trailers or mobile homes, boats and boat
trailers shall not be stored or parked within
the front yard setback area in any Residential
District for a period exceeding two (2) hours.
'~,2.~'2- Vehicles stored or parked witlnln the side yard
satback in any Residential District must be
screened from adjacent properties by means of a
sight-obscuring fence or wall. Said fence or
wall shall have a height of not less than six
(6) feet, unless otherwise limited by City Ordi-
nance.

5,21:5- No uti!'ities, excepting electricity, shall be
connected to trailers or camping vehicles.
'~e provisions of this section do not preclude
the ~vernight parking of any non-ccm~.ercial ti~e
trucks of three cuarters (3/4) tons, or less, in
the front yard setback. However, camping com-
partments shall not be removed and stored in the
front yard setback area.
