A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, RECOMMENDING ADOPTIONS
OF ORDINANCES RESTRICTING PARKING AND STORAGE
OF HEAVY VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL ZONES.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California

does resolve as follows.-
After public hearing duly called, noticed and held, the
Planning Commission recommends adoption of ordinances attached
hereto marked Exhibits A and B respectively.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of ~T~stin, held on the 11th day f July, 1966

VEHICLES IN RESIDenTIAL ZONES
SECTION 1.00 - VEHICLES ON~.PRIVATE PROPERTY
1.01 -
Commercial type vehicles (including buses, trucks,
or any vehicle displaying advertising matter),
house trailers or mobile homes, boats and boat
trailers shall not be stored or parked within
the front yard setback area in any Residential
District for a period exceeding two (2) hours.
1.02 -
Vehicles stored or parked within the side yard
setback in any Residential District must be
screened from adjacent properties by means of a
sight-obscuring fence or wall. Said fence or
wall shall have a height of not less than six
(6) feet, unless otherwise limited by City
Ordinanc e.
No utilities, excepting electricity, shall be
connected to trailers or camping vehicles.
1.04 -
The provisions of this section do not preclude the
overnight parking of any non-commercial type trucks
of three quarters (3/4) tons, or less, in the front
yard setback. However, camping compartments shall
not be removed and stored in the front yard setback
area.

ARTICLE XI. STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING RESTRICTED
OR PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS.
SECTION 8.
PARKING - C0~,E.~RCIAL VEHICLES IN RESIDENTIAL STREETS
No person shall park any commercial or commercial
type vehicle (including buses~ trucks or any. ve-
hible, displaying., advertising matter),'house trailer,.
or mobile home~ boat or boat trailer~ for more tha~.
five hours in any Residential District,
(a)
while loading or unloading ~roperty and time
in addition to such five (5) hour period is
necessary to complete such work, or
(b)
when such vehicle is parked in connection with,
and in aid of, the performance of a service to
or on a property in the block in which such ve-
hicle is parked and time in addition to such
five (5) hour period is reasonably necessary'
to complete such service.
