A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN RECOMMENDING THAT
THE CITY COUNCIL ADOPT THE 2002 ANNUAL
REPORT ON THE STATUS OF THE TUSTIN
GENERAL PLAN
The Planning Commission does hereby resolve as follows:
The Planning Commission finds and determines as follows:

That Government Code Section 65400(b) requires the Planning Agency (the
Planning Commission) to provide an annual report to the City Council on the
status of the General Plan and progress in its implementation including the
progress in meeting its share of the regional housing needs;
B,
That the City has implemented numerous ordinances, programs, guidelines,
specific plans, general plan amendments, and discretionary actions in
accordance with the General Plan;
C,
That the City has taken steps in removing governmental constraints that
hinder the development of affordable housing;
Do
That on August 26, 2002, the Planning Commission considered the efforts
undertaken by the City of Tustin to implement the General Plan;
E,
That the City's efforts in implementing the General Plan are summarized in
the report entitled "2002 Status of General Plan and Implementation
Progress" attached hereto as Exhibit "A," and
F,
That the Planning Commission has accepted the 2002 Annual Report on the
status of the City of Tustin General Plan and will submit said report to the
City Council for consideration.
II.
The Planning Commission hereby recommends that the City Council adopt the
2002 Annual Report on the status of the City of Tustin General Plan attached
hereto as Exhibit "A."
