HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RES 02-084 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 02-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK OF IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING RECORDATION OF NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENTS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS (CIP No. 6145) WHEREAS, Ken Thompson, Inc. having a contract with the City Council to provide the hereinafter described public work and improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer has duly certified to the completion of said public improvements hereinafter mentioned in a manner satisfactory to the City Council of the City of Tustin; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said contractor has completed said public work and improvements hereinafter more particularly described in accordance with the provisions of the contract documents and the Notice of Completion, and acceptance of said public work and improvements should be filed and payment of the balance due said contract authorized in accordance with the contract documents. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Tustin that said public work and improvements are found to be complete, and the same is hereby accepted. Said public work and improvements are more particularly described as follows: Water Main Replacements at Various Locations (CIP No. 6145) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer of the City of Tustin is hereby authorized to execute and file a Notice of Completion for the Acceptance of said public works and improvements described herein as required by law. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Tustin, held on the 3rd day of September 2002.
