A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
GRANTING A VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO.
V. 65-159 OF COCHRAN.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin resolves
as follows:
Sectlon 1: That the Plannlng Commission finds ~nd
determines that:
A) A proper aDpllcation (No. V. 65-159) was filed on
behalf of Cochran to permit deletion of the.required rear yard
setback on the property located on the North side of First Street,
apProximately 37 feet West of "A" Street.
B) A publlc hearlng was duly called, noticed and held
on said application.
C) The restrlctlons of the zone are more restrictive on
the subject property than on other properties in the same zone and
are due to its special geographic conditions.
D) The proposed v~rlance would not be detrimental to
adjacent properties or uses not to the ~eneral welfare of the
Clty of Tustln, and should be ~ranted.
Section 2: The variance, as applied for, to permit
deletion of the rear yard setback requirement is granted, subject
to the following conditions:
1) A twelve foot (12') high wall be constructed at the
south face of the proposed new building along its westerly
property line and joining with the existing structure.
2) That the exit drlveway be improved to City stsndards.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 26th
day of July, 1965.
