A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON APPLICATION NO.
U.P. 65-195.
The Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California,
resolves as follows:
Section l: The Planning Commission finds and determines
as follows:
(A) That a proper application (No. U.P. 65-195)was filed
on behalf of Paul L. Hume, to permit an Auction House on the
property located on the southeasterly corner of Main Street
and "D" Street; a complete legal description is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
(B) That a ~ublic hearing was duly called, noticed and
held on said apolication.
(C) That said proposed use would not be detrimental to
the subject prooerty, adjacent properties or uses, would be
compatible with the general plan of the City of Tustin, and
should be granted.
.Section 2: The Conditional Use Permit, as applied, for,
is hereby granted to permit an Auction House upon the above
described property, subject to the following conditions:
(A) That the Use Permit will be null and void two years
from the date hereof due to the fact that the business district
in this area is undergoing a period of transition.
(B) That the off-street parking facilities be improved
as per standards set forth by the Engineering Department to
include proper striping of the parking stalls.
(C) That landscaping plans for the parking area be
submitted for approval by the Architectural Committee.
(D) That no sales displays be permitted outside of the
subject building.
(E) That all signs be submitted to the Architectural
Committee for approval.
(F) That some form of landscaping be provided
in the front yard such as planting boxes (A layout
of some type of landscaping is reGuired in the front
yard in the C-2-P District).
(G) That applicant shall meet all requirements
as set forth by the Fire Department of the City of Tustin.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, California,
held on the 12th day of July, 1965.

Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning ~t the Northwest corner of said
Block 18; thence East along the North line
of said Block 18, a distance of 150 feet to
the Northwest corner of the land conveyed to
Jeane C. Thorman by deed recorded April 20,
1936 in Book 819, page 299 of Official Records;
thence Southerly along the Westerly line of
said land of Thorman, 100 feet; thence West
and parallel to the North line of said Block,
150 feet to the west of said Block 18; thence
North along the said West line 100 feet to
the point of beginning.
The South 100.00 feet of the North 200.00
feet of the West 150 feet of Block 18 of
the City. of Tustin, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 4, pages 218 and 219 of Miscellaneous
Records of Los Angeles County, California
and said Block 18 is also shown on map of
South Tustin, recorded in book 1, page 99
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
