A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A
VARIANCE ON APPLICATION NO. V. 65-153 OF
FURMAN.
The Planning Commission of the Clty of Tustln, California,
hereby resolves as follows:
.~ection l: The Planning Commission finds and determines
as follows:
A) That a prooer application (No. V. 65-153) was
filed by Furman for a variance to permit construction of a
swimming pool in the front yard building setback area and a
six foot (6') fence within two inches (2") from the property
lines on the property in the R-3 zone at 17042 Kenyan Drive,
Tustin., more oarticularly described 9s follows:
Lot 4, Block 31, Tract 5469, as oer map
recorded in Book 192, page 30, official
records of Orange County, California.
B) That a public hearing was regularly called, noticed
and held on said application.
C) That the restrictions of the zone in which said
property is loc<~ted are more restrictive upon the subject property.

oarticular ~eographical conditions of ssid ~roperty.
D) That the strict adherence to these restrictions
would impose a hardship to the property owner.
E) That granting said variance would not be detrimental
to adjacent properties or uses, 8nd would be harmonious with the
neighborhood and consistent wlth the general plan of the City of
Tustin, and should be granted.
Section 2: The variance, as applied for, is hereby
granted to permit a swimming pool in the front yard building
setback area to a six foot (6') fence ~wo inches (2") from the
property line, subject to the condition that the deslgn, location
and width of landscaping shall be aoproved by the Architectural
Committee.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meet in~ of the Planning
Commission of the City of Tustin, held on the 8th day of March,
1965.
